Troop 777 is proud to have strong history of supporting scouts in achieving the Eagle rank.
To complete the Eagle Rank, a Life Scout will need to complete an Eagle Rank Application including:
Complete all sections of the application
Be active in the troop for 6 months as a Life Scout
Serve in a troop leadership position for 6 months as a Life Scout
Earn all required merit badges (21 total = 14 Eagle required + 7 others)
Obtain Eagle Scout recommendations
Provide a Personal Statement of Ambitions / Life Goals
Complete and document an Eagle Scout Project
Complete an Eagle rank Scoutmaster Conference
When the above are completed, an Eagle Board of Review is scheduled. Upon successful completion of this Board of Review, the Scout will be granted the rank of Eagle Scout. Please contact the Scoutmaster for details on the process, as our troop has a well developed process for supporting the Life to Eagle progression. The essential information and paperwork for Eagle candidate can be found on the SDIC website "Eagles Nest".
