Summer’s Ending Troop Geocache – August 10th from 1 to 5 pm
Post date: Jul 30, 2014 7:53:9 PM
Spend the afternoon exploring San Elijo Hills for more than 50 hidden geocaches. Whether it is your first time geocaching or you have found hundreds of caches – all are welcome. Sign up for this free trek as late as August 8th.
“Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.” --http://www.geocaching.com/
If this is your first time geocaching, come and learn about this great activity from other Scouts. If you are a seasoned geocacher, come and show-off your geocaching skills and help others learn the tricks of the trade.
Contact Mr. Uwins if you would like to sign up for this trek. Permission/registration forms are required and can be turned in at the Troop Meeting on 4 August or the day of the trek.
If you have any friends that are interested in Scouting, they are also welcome to come on the trek so that they can learn about Scouting. Permission forms required for friends too.
