    Perfect weather, tons of climbing. We climbed Morbid and Fuedal in Indian Cove camp. Each climb had 3-4 up routes and a great rappel down.

    Met with Ocean Enterprises at the JCC pool and scouts tried out SCUBA diving equipment in a safe environment.

    High temp was 20 degrees. Low was -2 degrees! Built an igloo and a Quinzee (snow cave hollowed out of a pile of snow).

    December ride was a 25 miler on the coast. February's was a 50 miler up and back through Camp Pendleton.

    20 miles in two days. We diverted to Long Valley to replenish our water supply and prepare dinner before continuing on to Round Valley camp.

  • San Bernadino Peak

    Only 5.5 miles to our camp, but it climbs nearly 4000 feet in that distance. This hike was a real test. We dayhike to the peak and then find that going down wasn't too easy either.
