February 26-27 - The Imperial Valley Council of the Navy League has announced that the Blue Angels will be returning for their 2016 training season in El Centro.  The Council will be hosting its annual Desert Outing event on February 27, 2016.

Troop 777 is planning to attend this unique event. The price to attend is $115 per Scout or adult leader. This includes breakfast & lunch with the Blue Angels.  In addition, the entire Blue Angel team will be available for photos and autographs after the second flight training session. 

As we have done in the past, the Scouts will be leaving on Friday afternoon, February 26th at 4:00 PM for the Naval Air Facility in El Centro. We'll be car camping and return Saturday afternoon at approximately 5:00 PM.

IMPORTANT FOR ADULTS DRIVING/ATTENDING: The Department of the Navy has security protocols that require each adult (age 18 or older) accompanying the Troop to submit the attached Department of the Navy Local Population ID Card/Base Access Pass Registration.  Failure to submit the DOD registration will prevent our adults from attending and gaining access to NAF El Centro. 

The deadline to submit the trek form, payment and DOD registration is Monday, February 1st. This is a hard deadline. You can either deliver or mail to Ted Montag at 406 Hickoryhill Drive, Encinitas, CA  92024.
