Lake San Marcos Padle Boarding Trek

On August 16, a little more than a handful of scouts and adults participated in a stand-up paddle boarding trek (also known as a SUP trek) in Lake San Marcos. After going on the trek, I was able to ask some of the scouts and adults who went on the trek some questions. Every one who went on the trek had fun and got better at paddle boarding. For Mrs. Tcoztcy, it was her first time paddle boarding and she never fell in. She was able to stand up on the board. Jake C fell in because of friendly games being played in the water, where scouts were trying to get other scouts to fall in. Parker H had been paddle boarding multiple times and he loves it. I got a chance to ask why he loves the sport so much and he explained to me that he loved doing all the different strokes and what he can do in water on the board. Even if you are just starting paddle boarding or if you have done it for a while, you can still have fun on a SUP trek.
