| Reason for rating: The sierras are the best mountains out there. they have beginner trails, advanced trails and everything in between. The views from any given point are amazing. The only thing that brought this down from an 11 to a 10 is the fact that in places like Yosemite National Park, there are mule trains on 50% of the trails. to make it worse, there are cobblestones on some of the trails, which can get very painful after ten miles of hiking on them. |
