About the Author

My name is Devon. I live in San Diego, California. I was born in March of 1988, thus, making me 15 years of age. I have taken Website design as one of my many hobbies. I live in a fair sized house with a big natural area across the street we call "the Canyon" that is filled with the natural chaparral of this area. That started my need for adventure several years ago. Every day after school, I would go in there and try to find new trails and new places to hide. That all fed my growing need for adventure. Soon, "the Canyon" had begun to starve the giant need it had created. Luckily, at that point, my dad had taken me to a boy scout troop that I decided that I wanted to join. The troop was very active and I soon set off on my first backpack. It was a very tough backpack that was supposed to be easy to accomplish. The leader of the group decided that we had started too late to get to camp in time, so, we "bushwhacked" across the desert and then down a near vertical face into our campsite.

This site has only parts of these books at a very summarized state. The actual books have much more useful information. I highly recommend full purchase of the books.
