Bow Willow Canyon

 Rating:6 (1-10, 10 being the best)
Reason for rating: This trip was a fairly long yet interesting trip. When you hike to your campsite, (which is basically anywhere in Rock House Canyon) you can rest and the walk up towards the end of the canyon where there is actually a house made of rock from the cow herding days. If you look up the slope, there is a huge water tank of some kind also left over from the herders.
Description of trip: This trip starts with a short quarter mile hike to a junction of trails. I took the tail that went up the slope and started boulder scrambling up. About 3/4 of the way up, there is a lone palm tree. Nobody has ever found out why it is there alone. You get up to the mesa and hike along a wash and following a system of markers. you drop into Rock House Canyon and find a place to camp.
